Eco Lavish Fashion ShowRevival Ink is super excited to participate in Seattle’s biggest eco fashion show: Eco Lavish! Revival Ink clothing has been paired up with World Wise Jewelry to set the runway on fire with our new Fall and Winter fashions! Many of Seattle’s up and coming eco designers will be featured in the show, including Flutterbudget Jewelry, Twice Blushed wedding gowns, Vian Hunter vintage and modern inspired clothing, and Cameron Levin couture cocktail dresses and ball gowns. The event is now in its 3rd year, and is making quite a name for itself. The date is November 11th from 7pm-9:30pm. This year’s event takes place at Herban Feast’s SODO Park venue. Be sure to get there early, the first 50 guests receive free Eco Swag Bags. The show is for ages 21 and over. Tickets are $25, and you can buy them online from Brown Paper Tickets.

Visit Eco Lavish for all the event details, including interviews of the designers. Read Revival Ink’s interview to find out more about my focus and goals for the fashion show. Revival Ink won’t be selling any clothing at the fashion show, but I will be participating in Best of the Northwest that same weekend: November 12th-14th. Everyone who attends the Eco Lavish fashion show will receive 10% off everything in my booth at Best of the Northwest. The event is open to the public, and tickets are $8 at the door. Kids are free! There are so many Indie Fashion websites to love! But right now…these are my favorite 7:

Think All Sustainable Furniture Looks The Same?

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

Think again! Check out these awesome furniture designs from
Because We Can

My favorite is the conference table and chairs they made for Comic Debris. I would love to have this in my dining room. Check out their online store where you can order you own earth friendly furniture made from recycled and sustainable wood sources.

(The squirrel table pictured is my favorite in the store). All the furniture comes flat packed, and assembles without any tools. The furniture actually fits together like a very simple puzzle. How do they make these awesome functional works of art? By laying it out in Auto CAD, and transferring the files to their C&C router. The router cuts the wood following the information in the CAD file with great precision. Now that’s genius.
