Folklife Festival

If you are looking for the best free summer festival in the Northwest, then you have found it! The 38th annual Northwest Folklife Festival in Seattle, WA will be held Memorial Day weekend, Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25 at Seattle Center. One of the nation’s largest community arts festivals, the annual Memorial Day weekend celebration invites everyone to play, dance, sing, learn, taste, and participate! Participants enjoy hundreds of performances and interactive events. Not to mention all of the wonderful food, arts, crafts, and local vendors like Revival Ink. That’s right, Revival Ink eco friendly apparel will be at Folk Life this year for the first time, and I am very excited.

With free admission, and great entertainment, what better way to spend the day? Plus, Revival Ink will be offering a 10% discount to everyone who mentions this blog post, as well as having lots of items already on sale! So if you’ve never experienced the amazing feel of a bamboo shirt, or the softness of organic cotton, stop by the Revival Ink booth, and feel the difference for yourself. I have just finished my brand new Koi dresses, dandy tanks, and flower pattern V neck tops. The Revival Ink booth is located on Bagley Roadway, by Intiman Theater. Be the first to see my new creations, and enjoy the Seattle sun! That’s right, the forecast for this weekend is all sun, so get outside and enjoy it at the Northwest Folklife Festival.

Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day and will include concerts, dance parties, children’s activities, storytelling, merchants, food vendors and impromptu happenings of all kinds. Over 250,000 guests are expected to enjoy this quintessentially Seattle event that marks the unofficial beginning of summer, and the official kick-off event celebrating the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific (A-Y-P) Exposition centennial.

Hope to see you there!
