Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my birthday, and I am celebrating by releasing 2 brand new items. I have also added a brand new section to my website that features all the womens only styles on the site. This is where you’ll find the 2 new items: the Blossom Tunic, and Blossom Wrap. I was thinking about those cherry blossom paintings I used to make in first grade by blowing ink through a straw, and sticking pink tissue paper on for the blossoms. I made the blossom print to remember those days.

Lots of Fun Events in August!

Today I am getting geared up for a crazy month chock full of fun events. I will be kicking it off this Thursday in Pioneer Square for the Artwalk. I will be in Occidental Park from 4pm-9pm with some brand new designs! Sharing my booth will be the hilarious, and fascinating Ugly Baby Shower Art. What is shower art? Well stop by and find out! Okay, here’s a clue…

This weekend I’ll be going to Portland for Crafty Wonderland and the Summer Arts & Crafts Market with my Ugly Baby buddies. Road trip! The following weekend (August 16th and 17th) you can find me at Seattle’s Famous Hempfest. Then it’s off to Las Vegas for Pool Trade Show August 25th-27th. What a great way to spend my birthday, in Vegas! The last weekend of August, Memorial Day weekend, you can find me kickin it at Bumbershoot. My booth will be right by the fountain, so stop by and say hi! If you ever want to know what events I’ll be doing in your area, just visit the Revival Ink Events Calendar. So far I’m planning events for Tacoma, San Francisco, and even New York!

I also wanted to mention Revival Ink clothing is coming to 2 more stores! Starting next week, Revival Ink will be in Gargoyles on University Ave, in the U-District. And….
A brand new store opening in Ballard on Memorial Day weekend! The store is called Monster Art & Clothing, and is located at NW 20th & Ballard Ave. The grand opening party is September 2nd, and all the local artists who make the lovely clothing and art found in the store will be there. Today’s favorite Handmade Item!

I am in the mood for blue today! I found an Etsy treasury that had all blue items, and this is my favorite one. This blue flocked silk purse by Spongetta is not too big, not too small, but just right. I love the detailing, and the easy access provided by the ring holders. This purse is one of a kind, but there are more in different colors shapes, and sizes at Spongetta’s etsy store! Spongetta is Betsy and Sarah, 2 women from New York with a passion for fabric.
